Terms of Service

At LuxePaws Co, our policies are designed to create a framework of trust, safety, and quality care for all pets and their owners. We understand that entrusting your pet to someone else can be a daunting experience, which is why we have established comprehensive guidelines to ensure a consistent and reliable experience.

 

Our policies help us maintain a nurturing environment where pets can flourish, as they outline our commitment to the health and well-being of every animal in our care. By promoting open communication, we encourage pet owners to engage with us, ensuring that their needs and concerns are heard and addressed.

 

This collaborative approach not only builds trust but also allows us to tailor our services to meet the unique requirements of each pet. It is important to note that any violation of our policies may result in the termination of services.

 

Ultimately, our policies serve as a reflection of our dedication to excellence, ensuring that both pets and their owners can feel secure, informed, and respected throughout their journey with us. We aim to cultivate a caring community where every pet feels at home, and every owner feels confident in the care their furry family members receive.

Constant Care Services.

To ensure the well-being of pets requiring continuous supervision, we have implemented the following guidelines for our Constant Care services. Pets that cannot be left unattended for periods within a range of 5 to 6 hours will be classified as Constant Care clients and will incur our designated Constant Care overnight rate. During these stays, we will not accept bookings from other clients to maintain focused attention.

Pets will only be left unattended in the home for essential tasks, such as grocery shopping or running errands.

Constant Care services will start and conclude at the agreed-upon booking times. We will strictly adhere to these scheduled times. It is important to note that we assume no liability in relation to pet care after the established end time unless prior arrangements and compensation for any adjustments have been made.

Home Access and Safety.

At LuxePaws Co, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of your pet while they are in our care. To maintain a secure environment, it is required to disclose prior to booking if any individuals (such as housekeepers, friends, contractors, etc.) will need access to your home during our service.

For liability and safety purposes, an additional fee of $50 per person per day will be applied for any individuals needing access to your home or for ongoing construction activities in your yard. This fee is necessary to account for the additional precautions and oversight required to ensure the safety of your pet(s).

It is important to note that during our stay, we will not allow anyone to enter your home or yard without your explicit prior approval. Any individuals entering without our prior knowledge will be considered trespassers.

Should individuals access your home or yard with your consent without the associated policy fee being paid, we reserve the right to terminate our services immediately due to a breach of this policy. In such instances, we will issue a refund for any unused days of service; however, no refunds will be given for services already rendered prior to cancellation.

Care Instructions and Liability.

LuxePaws Co. will implement the written care instructions received prior to the start of services. Any verbal instructions or those discussed exclusively during the Wag & Wiggle Welcome will not be applicable. To ensure all essential care instructions are included, please provide them via this service request form, in chat discussions, or via email.

Veterinary Care Authorization.

I acknowledge and agree that, should my pet require medical attention, LuxePaws Co will contact the pet's veterinarian and adhere to the instructions provided by the veterinarian or my preferred emergency veterinary clinic. LuxePaws Co will make reasonable efforts to notify me (or the designated emergency contact if I cannot be reached) of any signs or symptoms of serious illness or injury using the contact information I have provided. In the event that I am unavailable for contact and LuxePaws Co deems it necessary to seek emergency veterinary care, I grant authorization for them to do so. I understand that I am responsible for all financial obligations related to the veterinary care my pet receives.

Pet Care Conduct Agreement.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for my pet(s) and their actions while they are in the care of LuxePaws Co. I agree to cover any expenses resulting from injuries or damages caused by my pet(s) to other individuals or my property. I will also address any claims that may arise during my pet’s service and agree not to pursue any legal action against LuxePaws Co or it's owners.

Canine Cuddle Call & Meow Maintenance Guidelines.

To provide a seamless, safe, and effective service, Canine Cuddle Calls and Meow Maintenance Visits are performed only when pets are left unattended. If someone is present at home during the scheduled visit, we will be unable to complete the service, and a refund will not be issued for the missed appointment.

We recognize that unforeseen circumstances may require someone to be at home during the scheduled visit. In these cases, we are happy to offer the option to reschedule for a later time when the home is unoccupied. Please note that an additional fee will apply for the rescheduled visit.

We kindly ask clients to ensure their homes are empty during the scheduled visits. If any changes to the schedule arise or unexpected events occur, we encourage you to notify us as soon as possible so we can make the necessary arrangements for your pets' comfort.

Client Responsibility for Care Instructions.

I acknowledge that the care provided by LuxePaws Co is based entirely on the instructions I provide regarding my pet’s health and behavior. I confirm that I have answered all questions truthfully and thoroughly.

Pet Imagery Release Authorization.

I give my consent for LuxePaws Co to use photographs and videos of my pet taken during the scheduled pet care service for business and marketing initiatives. I acknowledge that I can withdraw this permission at any time by contacting LuxePaws Co.
